{"id":657,"date":"2018-01-14T08:02:15","date_gmt":"2018-01-14T08:02:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theatreonmain.co.za\/?p=657"},"modified":"2018-01-14T08:02:15","modified_gmt":"2018-01-14T08:02:15","slug":"1st-term-newsletter-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theatreonmain.co.za\/?p=657","title":{"rendered":"1st Term Newsletter 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>TERM STARTS MONDAY\u00a0 22 JANUARY\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0All classes remain on the same days and in the same time slots.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays.\u00a0 And yes I am feeling good and ready for the year ahead.\u00a0 A big welcome to new parents and new learners to our dancing family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Production 2018\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>In the next few months we will be finalizing the dancers for this production due to take place in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Term.\u00a0 All those eligible will be informed as well as being provided with the conditions of participation.\u00a0 Dancers need to be attending sufficient classes to reach the standard required before they may participate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Choreographic Competition\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Those dancers who would like to make up their own dance for possible inclusion in the concert should ask me for the application form with the terms and conditions.\u00a0 \u00a0 There will be a selection day set aside for those who want to audition.\u00a0 Those selected will perform on different days of the production.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tulbagh Visitors\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Roshlynn \u00a0Abrahams ballet teacher, one of our past students and dancers, will be bringing a group of her dancers to perform during our show.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notice board\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>Please check the notice board in the foyer to keep up to date with events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact details\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Please make sure that the school is informed if any of your details have changed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overseas Teacher\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>March sees the return of Vincent Hantam, international ballet teacher and previous soloist with Scottish National Ballet Company, to take some of the senior level classes &#8211; always an interesting experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Good Ideas and suggestions\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Please let me know when you have them.\u00a0 We appreciate it.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Keep me informed if unable to attend class. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Changes in the family situation are important and may impact on a learner.\u00a0 Please consider informing me so that should the need arise I am able to handle matters appropriately.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Let us all have a wonderful dancing 2018 and 1st term.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Amy Gould<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TERM STARTS MONDAY\u00a0 22 JANUARY\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0All classes remain on the same days and in the same time slots.
