3RD TERM NEWSLETTER 2017

3rd Term starts Monday 24 July

It has been a cold July holiday, nevertheless enjoyable and interesting, for me at any rate.  Time to think and plan the next term and next year as much as one can plan anything in life.  The past six months have been very traumatic and stressful so am hoping the next few months will be less of an uphill battle and allow me to enjoy my work peacefully.

Thanks to those who pay promptly at the beginning of each term with some even paying long before the term starts   I appreciate parents contacting me to make arrangements for payment and will always attempt to make a plan that suits both parties. What I do not appreciate is being ignored after numerous invoices, emails and telephone calls have been made to attempt to resolve any difficulties there might be. It is such a waste of time and energy for everyone.

►   Please read the following carefully and   contact me    if this applies to you.

As from this 3rd term July 2017:

Where fees are outstanding and arrangements have not been made for payment attendance will be put on hold until outstanding fees have been paid. I am sure we can manage planned payments after discussion.

Should those concerned not respond within the 1st week of the term the account will be handed over for collection.

On to more pleasant matters.

  • A new + 4 year old class is starting on Saturday mornings 8.30 to 9.15 Please contact  us soonest if you would like your child to attend a trial lesson to see if they are ready to start learning.
  • We have been asked to start a morning Beginner Adult Ballet Class. Should you be  interested  let me know.  At present I have not fixed a time or day and can work around what seems the most suitable.  Possibly Wednesdays at 10

Production 2018

Working with the composer Gordon Mackay I have started roughing out ideas for two very different ballets.

I am looking for people to assist with costumes, design work, promotion, hair, makeup, front of house, photographers, catering etc.  I know next year sounds a long time away but it isn’t in terms of training and rehearsing to achieve the standard we require.

Speaking of which.  Only those attending at least two lessons a term will be eligible for participation.  They need the repetition to remember the sequences and gain confidence.

Once I have sorted out what the needs of this production will be you will be informed as to who will be eligible.

No I have not fixed any dates etc and won’t until I sort out the casting but most of it will be done this term, hopefully.

Be safe, healthy and enjoy this term everyone.
