4th TERM 2016 PARENTS DAY

This was a very happy presentation by the Saturday morning 8.30 class aged 4 – 5 after one year’s training. They were impressive and showed enormous self-confidence, focus and concentration and they were happy.

Looking at all the parents, grand-parents, brothers and sisters and various other relatives and friends it was obvious they too were enjoying this special occasion.

In jest, one Saturday morning when there were only fathers in the Glass Room waiting for their children I told them that after their children’s performance on the Saturday they would be expected to perform the dance of the Little Swans.  They asked what it was and I told them they could check it out on YouTube and if they needed help rehearsing they could contact me.

I then forgot all about my joke.  Came the finish of Parent’s day and the children did their curtsey Peyton’s mother jumped up and said `Amy I think you have forgotten the fathers performance and they have been practicing so hard for this.’

To my surprise I watched as, without too much grumbling, socks and shoes came off and this motley of fathers took to the floor.  There was much enjoyment and activation of cameras. I do not think all of us watching had laughed so much for a long time as the men attempted to get their arms crossed and their feet turned out.

Those who were taking pics please send some to me and I will put them up on our page.

We do have adult classes for men and women who have not learned before and there are quite a few men who have made inquiries for this term.  So Dad’s you are welcome to join the Monday and Wednesday 6 – 7 classes.
